About the Owner - Chris Wolfe
A Legacy of Integrity and Service
Chris Wolfe’s family-owned business, Wolfe’s Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, along with Federal Way Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, has proudly served the greater Puget Sound region since 1972. Chris took the reins from his father when the company was still known as Federal Way Steamway, preserving the core values of quality work and genuine customer care that have driven its reputation and growth across decades.
Chris begins every customer interaction by listening closely, leading with empathy, and offering honest guidance. His team of skilled technicians is trained not just in tools and machines—but in the chemistry of fabrics, stains, and cleaning agents—bringing expert-level precision to every home and business they serve.
As a small business owner, Chris faces a rapidly changing landscape where algorithm-driven competition and fake reviews often overshadow authenticity. While others chase social media clout and deep discount gimmicks, Chris stays true to the principles passed down through his family: honest work, fair pricing, and earning trust one job at a time.
Chris has weathered vandalism, theft, staffing shortages, and other trials—always responding with resilience, grace, and an unwavering commitment to customer service. He never complains. He coaches. He adapts.
That coaching mindset isn’t limited to business. Chris was honored with an induction into the Pierce County Hall of Sports Fame for his celebrated career as a wrestling coach. His ability to uplift people, stay accountable, and inspire excellence infuses every job and every team member.

Chris doesn’t chase trends—he builds relationships. That’s why Wolfe’s remains a referral-based business, thriving without shortcuts, surviving market shifts, and earning repeat customers across Lakewood, Puyallup, Parkland, Bonney Lake, and South King County.
His mission is simple and unchanged: to serve every customer so well they’ll invite him back. It’s not flashy—but it works.
